Black Watch (III) in Cobh
On the 4th May 2008, the enormous Independence of the Seas was on her maiden voyage and taking up the Deepwater Quay in Cobh meaning Black Watch would now have to tender from Ringaskiddy.  Just after 10.35am, during a crew drill on Independence below me, the gorgeous Black Watch came into view.
She gave one blast before the turn into the channel to pass us.  As she did she was annoyingly silent!  Couldn't have been due to being a Sunday if she can blast to herself.
